So Many Questions that I Don’t Know How to Answer.

Good morning wonderful human beings, how is your week going so far? Mine is going good. I have been waking up at 8 am instead of 6 am, so I have been sleeping an extra 2 hours every day. Somewhere I read that the average person sleeps longer during the winter than the rest of the year. Do you guys sleep longer when it is colder? I apparently do. It is hard to get out of bed when it is cold.

Yesterday I was talking to my brother about the things I do every day and we began talking about the blog and you guys. So I wanted to take a minute to thank you. Without your support I would probably be a nurse, and I would not be pursuing my dream.

I especially want to thank the people who always like the blog posts no matter what they are about. Those of you who have shared blog posts or commented, and all of you who have sent me private messages to encourage me or talk about the blog. I truly appreciate all of you. Just the fact that you are here reading this means a lot to me.

Anyhow, shall we begin the actual blog post? This past week I have been doing a lot of questioning myself. Not in bad negative way, but more in a “what is it that I truly want?” See, I’ve always wanted to be a writer, and even more vague an artist. But how is one an artist? I do I want to sell art? Do I want to teach people how to make art? Do I just want to talk about other people’s art? Do I want to be a content creator?

See, the other day I was listening to a podcast which I highly recommend called “Creative Pep Talk” by Andy J. Pizza. On one of his latest episodes he was talking about how to define your career as creative person. One of his advice was to choose one specific thing and make into your career.

I know that’s how most jobs work. You get hired for a specific position and you do that every day. Nothing wrong with it, except that I can’t pin down just one think to do every day. I love too many things.

On Mondays I like to spend the day baking and writing poetry on my journal, while I burn a candle that smells like pumpkin pie. On Tuesday I like to start a new piece that will take until Friday to be finished. On Thursdays I write on this blog. In between I read books and drink lots of coffee.

Okay, let’s be honest my life doesn’t look like that on actual basis, but you get the gist, too many things I love to do. So, how can I make one job out of everything I love. That’s the main question.

I have been thinking a lot about that lately, that’s what I’ve asked you to share the blog so much. I’ve been thinking about making some changes, spending even more time writing in the blog and finding a way to incorporate my art in to the mix. But there are still a lot of questions that I don’t know how to answer and that’s okay.

Right now, still don’t have a work permit so I still can’t make any money. For that, I am doing lots of research about owning a business, what does it intake legally, what does it mean to be a content creator, and other stuff like that.

I would love to be able to pick and choose the different aspects of different creative jobs and make it work as a full time job, but I have no idea how to do that.

The legal aspect of that, is what overwhelms me the most. I have no idea what to do about taxes, or how to have a legit business or anything of the sort.

I have a question for you guys, why do you keep coming back to the blog? Let me know in the comments below.

And I think that’s going to be all for today. I will keep you updated on the changes that happen and how things will be moving forward. Don’t worry, the blog isn’t going anywhere.

Also I just noticed that I started writing this at about 8:30 am, and it is now noon. So that’s that for distractions.

Anyhow, until next week be awesome, be happy and share your love!

I’ve made it my career to enjoy myself. No income is included for me but the freedom to express and relate to so many unknown people rewards me with connection. Can’t agree with everything I encounter but will continue growing as I desire. Sharing a blog is to be certain I give back the gifts I receive.

That is amazing and I agree with it. One of the reasons why I’ve always wanted my own business is to be able to do something I am passionate about and be able to enjoy myself in the process. Sharing a blog is a great way to connect with people and create a community. It is for sure an awesome way to share your talents.
