So Much to Talk About
Hello wonderful human beings, how's life going for you?
I want to start by apologizing for not having a post last week, in all honesty, I was busy doing other things and I completely forgot. Anyhow, new week, new post.
Some of you have been asking me how the green card (permanent residence) process is going. At the moment we are waiting for an answer. We have sent all of the required documents and forms, and now we just have to wait. For me, this is the most stressful part because we don't know how long it will take. There's not much for us to do aside from waiting and praying.
In other news, Brandon and I have started planning what our garden will look like next year. We (and by we I mean I) want to have more plants. We have gotten a good harvest this year for eating fresh, hut we have gotten enough to save for the rest of the year, which was one of the goals we had decided when we were planning this year's garden. So, next year we are going to need more plants.
Some of the flowers and plants are already begining to die, which is a little sad, but the growing season is coming to an end and that is how nature works. I am actually pretty excited about fall.
Brandon and I tried to eat vegan for a week, I loved it but Brandon wasn't very excited. He'll eat veggies, but some times he says I give him too many. Which might be true, I don't know, I grew up eating a lot of vegetables and I truly enjoy eating them.
Other than eating vegetables, I also really enjoy reading books. I know I haven't posted many "What are you reading Wednesday" but yesterday I began reading "The Complete Tales and Poems of Edgar Allan Poe" which is a book of about 800 pages that contains all of E.A. Poe's short stories and poems. I will resume posting essays of each story as I read them, so be on the lookout for those.
As always, if you have a story you want me to read and write about, let me know on the comments below.
Lately I've been motivated to clean the house, which I have been doing a lot of. I don't think our bedroom has ever been as clean as it is right now, we'll see how long it stays like this.
Okay guys, I think that's going to be it for this week's post. I didn't have a very good night sleep last night and I am really tired. Until next week, don't forget to live your life in a way that makes you proud of whom you are. Love yourself and love others around you.
Bye.
