A Peaceful Day in the Garden

Hello wonderful humans, have you gone outside lately? I am currently laying on a picnic blanket in the middle of the garden. I just drank a cup of peppermint tea, I brought a book with me and watermelon for a snack later.

This week I didn't want to write about the garden again, because that's what I did last week, but being here is just so peaceful that it is hard to think about anything else.

I do have an idea for future post. I have been enjoying writing this shorter sort of update weekly posts a lot, but I miss the essays I used to write in college. So I have decided to start "What are you reading Wednesday?" On Thursdays you will continue to get the kind of posts you have been getting lately, and on Wednesdays I will post an essay, analyzing something I've read lately. Let me know in the comments below if you have any short story recommendations.

Did you know last weekend was Brandon's birthday? As I mentioned at the end of last week's post, on Saturday Brandon turned 25. Not much can be done in the midst of this quarantine but I'm sure he had a great day playing cards with his parents and eating Oreo dessert.

Tomorrow is another exciting date, Brandon and I will have been married for 6 months tomorrow. It is crazy to think that at one point we considered having our wedding this summer, because of the warmer weather, but I for one I'm glad we didn't wait. I don't how I would feel if covid-19 had ruined our plans.

Anyhow, that watermelon is looking delicious and I can't wait to eat it, so I'll go back to enjoy my garden and until next week, have a great day and don't forget to be kind.

My favorite picture from our wedding.
