Apple Pies and Pets, that's an alliteration.

Good morning wonderful human beings, what are you up to today? I am currently waiting for the mail to arrive. Brandon and I decided to order worms and crickets in the mail to feed our geckos, so that we don't have to drive to the pet store every other week given that it is an hour away.

We have never order insects, so I have no idea how it is going to go, but Rainbow Mealworms has been highly recommend to us. The hope is that they arrive alive, otherwise the geckos will not eat them.

Let me not bored you with talk of insects and let's talk about apple pie, shall we?

As October begins and the fall is officially here, I had to make an apple pie. It is Brandon's favorite dessert, so of course he was thrilled about it.

This time I decided to make the crust myself, which wasn't as hard as I thought, and according to Brandon it was delicious. I had lots of fun baking the pie, though not so much with the cleaning of the kitchen.

Cleaning has never been something that I particularly enjoy, though it does give me a lot of satisfaction when it is done. It also gives me the opportunity to move things around and allow for energy to find new ways to move around.

Today has been a cold morning, so I have been staying under a blanket thinking about hot chocolate and desiring a quiet afternoon by a book. For that I must first finish cleaning the house.
