Do I Really Own That Many Books?

Hello wonderful humans, how was your week? Can you believe we are a week away from Christmas? Don't forget to tell me all about your holiday traditions and celebrations. Do you celebrate Christmas or something else?

Today, let's talk about books. The other i wanted to buy new books, two of them to be exact, and Brandon said I already have enough books at home that I haven't read.

If you remember I have the goal to read one book a week, which means 53 books for the whole year. Brandon thinks I own 53 books I haven't read, I don't think I even own that many books all together.

So today I gathered all of the books I haven't read, organized them and counted them. In total I have 25 unread books. Definitely not enough for an entire year.

I did not count all of the books I own in total because there aren't that many more and I know in total I definitely have less than a 100 books. How sad is that?

I started my book collection four years ago when I moved to Iowa, and the majority of these books were obtained as school assignments because I took several english courses.

Growing up I wasn't the biggest fan of reading just because I used to think it was boring, but I was clearly wrong. Did you read as a child?

The very first book I ever enjoyed reading was "David Copperfield" by Charles Dickens, in the six grade. This one continues to be my favorite book and I own more than copy of it.

What is your favorite book? Do you like reading? How many books do you own? Let me know in the comments below.

And until tomorrow, I will go cuddle my little sister since today is her last day here, and you can do something that makes you happy!
