Trying to Surprise Myself All Year Long

Hello beautiful humans, happy Christmas Eve, or Noche Buena like we say in Guatemala. It doesn't even feel like it is about to be Christmas but it is!

Today I want to talk about something I have never tried before. As you might know, i currently own 25 books that I have never read before and I am attempting to read one book a week.

I am currently finishing one called "A Day in December" by Josie Silver, and I was struggling to decide what book to read next. So instead of deciding what book to read, I decided to wrap them all with some craft paper I had laying around and randomly number then so that now I get surprised every time I to read a new book.

Though I remember the majority of the books on the list, I am definitely not able to distinguish them now that they are wrapped. I think it will be a lot of fun to not know what book I will be reading next.

Whenever I get more books I will immediately wrap them and add them to the list, I am thinking about buying some that are sold already wrapped so it is a 100% a surprise.

My beautiful sister in law actually gifted me one like that earlier this year and it was a lot of fun, especially because it was book that I didn't already own.
